To commemorate the ABA legacy of the 2003 NBA finals, Starline was inspired to go old-school, giving us priceless retro images of two of the upstart 1970s league's biggest superstars - George "The Iceman" Gervin, and Julius "Dr. J" Erving. Entitled "ABA-NBA: Then & Now", this poster also features the two biggest 2003 superstars of the San Antonio Spurs and New Jersey Nets, Tim Duncan and Jason Kidd. Spectacular as a whole, the image of Erving is especially gratifying, providing an extremely rare look at the superstar slam-dunk king in the flashy New York Nets uniform he wore from 1973 to 1976. The shot of George Gervin taking a jump shot with the old red-white-and-blue ABA ball is also wonderful, making this a true gem, and a great collector's item for all time.
