Otis Thorpe went from unheralded Providence College to the even-less-heralded Kansas City Kings, and after moving with the franchise to Sacramento after his rookie year, joined the Houston Rockets in 1988-89. For the next six years, he was a starting forward alongside the great Hakeem Olajuwon, and playing in his shadow, averaged nearly a double-double, and helped the Rockets earn their first-ever NBA championship in 1994. This amazing poster - as far as we can tell, the only poster release of his career - features Otis in action in a game against the Orlando Magic, driving to the net to lay in another two points. One of Starline's final "Solid Border" releases before they abandoned this classic design, it is a true collector's item, and a beauty for the wall of any Rockets fan.
