Celebrate the history of women's running, with rare and beautiful 1980s style! Published in 1984, this incredible poster was published by Nike to help promote its new Equinox running shoe line. The photography here is absolutely iconic - from the lens of legendary photographer Ancil Nance, it features a young woman running across the pedestrian section of the Brooklyn Bridge, heading south-east across the East River, with the lower Manhattan skyline (including the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center) in the background, just as she passes one of the two massive gothic towers that give the bridge its foundation. We obtained this one as part of a large closeout of old-school Nike posters several years ago, and were saving this one for the right time, for one serious Nike fan or collector to grab and add to the ultimate collection. Aside from pinholes in the top corners, and some minor incidental dents and scuffs in the border areas, it looks great! Put it in a nice frame, and it will look good-as-new.
