He is one of the greatest Centers of all-time - one of the first teenage stars in basketball, whose 21-year ABA and NBA career reached its pinnacle with the World Champion Philadelphia 76ers of 1983! Moses Malone led his Houston Rockets to the Finals in 1981, but could not get over the hump, and chose to join Dr. J in Philly for another run at glory. With outstanding athleticism for a 6' 10" giant, Malone used his unrelenting thirst for rebounds and blocks, and a remarkable ability to put the ball in the net, to help the 76ers sweep the Lakers aside that spring. With a championship ring on his finger, there was no longer a doubt - Moses Malone would head straight to Springfield on the first ballot, and join the rest of the great big men in the Hall of Fame!
